Aya Ram Gaya Ram: Insult to mandate

Party Change

Today’s Question (Aaj ka Prashn) can be called the pain of democratic society. The democratic society our freedom fighters dreamed of, many of those dreams has been made the market of political bargaining by the present politicians under the guise of the constitution. It seems clear that purity has been lost in current politics. The game of the change of parties which has been continued by politicians it has always insulted the mandate of democracy. Today, the process of defection has turned into a language like “stables and horses”. From time to time, politicians set their markets to change parties. The basic definition and purpose of democracy is being hurt by politicians adopting this process And wrong examples are also being set in society. The multi-party electoral system has made the general public’s election festival triangular and quadrangular and has left this market alive forever. All political parties have redeemed the opportunity of changing the party from time to time as per their requirement. When a candidate leader is selected for 5 years through public election in a democracy, then his responsibility should be for the progress of his constituency and not for the fulfillment of his ambitions. Is the frequent floor-crossing, turn coating, switching parties not an insult to the mandate? Is this change of party not cheating with the regional citizens? Because the people of the area along with the concerned leader also keep party in mind when cast their vote. All political parties are going through the pain of party change, then why are no politicians or political parties demanding to make the most stringent law? Why are not more stringent laws being made on this subject by the authorities? Why are all political parties allowed to operate weak law even after suffering? Why is there no law prohibiting a defector leader in the society to contest elections for the next few years? Aaj ka Prashn related to these burning questions seems to be necessary for constitutional and social change that,

Q. 41 :

When will the system of change of party from Indian politics end? When will be the politics of purity in democracy?

If you agree with the question, why and what should be the changes? If you disagree then why?

Think, and write your opinion in limited words for the change in the nation and your society or do express your views by pressing the button of “agree and disagree”

The people’s representative law and the defection law, which were made by our Constitution, are proving to be worthless today. It is well known that democracy is the rule of the people, for the people, by the people. In democracy, the public is the ruling, ruled by it’s permission, Its progress is considered to be the sole goal of governance. The current “party-change” political system has deeply damaged the basic objectives of democracy. Today, by taking advantage of the weaknesses of the prevalent anti-defection law by some politicians, their selfish motives are being fulfilled, which is different from the definition of democracy. Why there is a system of changing parties existed in our country for quick profit? Can the dreaded ruler / legislative society give proper guidance and upliftment to the society?

Whenever the chair of power of politicians is traumatized by a member or members of his party through party-change, then those politicians immediately keep repeating morality talks in public forums. When they got the opportunity to enact a stringent law for this illegal act, why did they forget that they had to make a proper and strict law on this subject. Isn’t society a witness today that the multi-party-political system has made the result of the biggest festival of democracy a “negotiating market”? In many mature democracies of the world, there is no system of change of parties, why can’t we put a permanent ban on party-change? Why are we not able to make constitutional rules and laws such as a permanent agreement with the regional party till the next (after 5 years) election in the multi-party political system? With the implementation of multi-party five-year agreement system in the country, only the politics of ruling party and opposition will be done, which will be sustainable. We have to think…. We have to write…. We have to change….!!!

Elections in democracy come every 5 years, today elections have become a revenue game for the stakeholders of power, in which one who has as many companions as that person is powerful. Party power stakeholders also criticize these laws as per their requirements and if it is in their own interest, they also explain the rules and law to the public. The public sees, hears, understands, but with the constitution tied their hands, they can only enjoy these games, and with passing time, these plays are also forgotten. Does our society now need a multi-party political system? The process of selecting the regional leader in our multi-party system has today brought politicians to the stables and horses market, From where the scene of the rip off of democracy keeps emerging. Today’s question is the bitter truth of our democratic society, so: When will the system of change of party from Indian politics end? When will be the politics of purity in democracy?  Is presented with all the respect to public table for discussion. Jay Hind…! Jay Bharat….!!!
